🍋 The Lemon Drop

A floral and citrus-forward riff on the classic spritz

The Spritz, Reimagined

The spritz has long been a symbol of Italian aperitivo culture—light, bubbly, and meant to ease you into the moment. Traditionally made with bitter liqueur, sparkling wine, and soda, it’s a drink built on balance.

The Lemon Drop takes that classic structure and spins it with a distinctly Mediterranean twist. Greek vermouth from Roots Divino Bianco adds depth and herbal brightness, while lavender syrup and lemon soda bring a floral-citrus harmony that feels both refreshing and indulgent. Topped with non-alcoholic sparkling wine and a splash of tonic, this is a zero-proof spritz that hits every note—aromatic, layered, and deeply satisfying.

💛 Why We Love It

The Lemon Drop is the kind of cocktail that feels like a tiny escape. It’s light, complex, and refreshing—but what really makes it special is the way the lavender and lemon brighten up the herbal notes of the vermouth. It’s a satisfying, flavour-forward alternative to a traditional Italian spritz—something we’d happily serve at a garden party or keep in our personal rotation all season long.
