My experience with this cocktail is very romantic. Because it took place in Paris. As I strolled along the cobblestone streets, I noticed groups of Parisians sipping vibrant orange drinks and laughing together. And, there were chips!
The key ingredient in this bubbly Italian drink is Aperol, a bitter orange liqueur.
To make this cocktail without alcohol, you can substitute Wilfreds or Undone No.7 - This is not Orange Bitter. And instead of the traditional prosecco, you can use a sparkling wine such as Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay.
The orange slice is a must! It’s just not the same without it. This cocktail is absolutely one of my favourites. And I like to enjoy it with a side of plain Ruffle chips. I challenge you to try to have just one of these!
