Margarita on the rock

This is one of those drinks that needs one giant ice cube. And it’s best stirred (not shaken). Otherwise this cocktail can get watered down. This is not the slushy kind! It’s the classic margarita complete with a spicy finish.

Amber’s favourite measuring tool: Copper plated double jigger.

2 ounces Free Spirits - The Spirit of Tequila.
½ ounce orange liqueur such as Tuscan Tree Aperitivo.
1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice.
¼ ounce of agave or maple syrup.

Stir and pour into a salt-rimmed glass with ice. Add a lime wheel for garnish. You can also use Wilfed’s aperitif as your orange liqueur. It contains rosemary so it will give your margarita a different flavour.
